Not only do they pour their wine from bottles, Ashton Creek raises the bar on sustainability by serving wines on tap and encouraging guests to take advantage of their growler program for a more eco-conscious fill. The Thibault family, who owns and runs Ashton Creek prides themselves on being conscientious with how they run their business. Recycling is important, cutting down on waste, and finding ways to make a positive impact within the community are all key components of their business.

Animal lovers at heart, the folks at Ashton Creek have found multiple ways to support local rescue organizations through events such as community adoption days and by creating special philanthropic wines. Bailey’s Bold and Willie’s White are named after the Thibault family dogs and proceeds from each bottle sold goes straight to their community animal shelters.

Conveniently located in Central Virginia along the Jefferson Davis Highway, the 16 acre family-owned and operated winery is in their fifth year of operation and showing no signs of slowing down. Their winemaker is always trying new techniques to bring something new to the table for guests. Their on-site restaurant serves tasty tapas and a selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches to compliment their catalog of wines as well as beers and hard ciders on tap. And the vineyard is host to more than 100 events throughout the year. The 4,800-square-foot event space is perfect for weddings, corporate events, parties, private tastings, and large groups.

With unique varietals such as Muscat, Traminette, Noriet, Tempranillo, Albarino, guests may want to dive into a flight while enjoying the charming 2,400-square-foot tasting room, or there’s always the option to grab a glass and enjoy the views from the balcony.
